Soul Expressions Concert | Rockin’ at Indy

Soul Expressions Live at Rockin’ at Indy

Thursday, October 8 | 6–9 PM
The Lawn at Independence Golf Club | Midlothian, VA

If there’s a night to leave the lawn chair behind, this might be it.

Soul Expressions brings its powerhouse vocals and high-energy set to Midlothian for the Rockin’ at Indy concert series on Thursday, October 8. Their setlist spans Motown, funk, soul, ’80s and ’90s favorites, rock, and modern hits, with songs by Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Bruno Mars, and more.

Three powerhouse vocalists lead this seven-piece band, and the musicians behind them know how to get a crowd moving. Band members have performed with Patti LaBelle, Destiny’s Child, Missy Elliott, and P-Funk—so expect a little more than your average Thursday night on The Lawn.

Come early, claim your spot, and bring your dancing shoes. Admission is complimentary. Tavern 19 serves food and drinks, and families are welcome. Bring a lawn chair or blanket if you plan to sit—no promises you’ll stay there.

Rockin’ at Indy brings live music to The Lawn every Thursday evening in September and October. If the weather changes our plans, we’ll post updates on our website and social media.

A huge thank-you to our title sponsor, Sheehy Lexus of Richmond, the driving force behind Rockin’ at Indy.
