Rockin’ at Indy: UPDATE! Thursday Night Concert Series Kickoff with The Wrest CANCELED

Live music, fresh air, and great vibes—Rockin’ at Indy returns to Independence Golf Club in Midlothian! Hosted by Independence RVA, this weekly outdoor concert series brings the community together every Thursday evening starting May 7 at 6 PM for unforgettable nights on the lawn. Open to the public and free admission. 

Opening Night Feature: The Wrest
Kicking off the series is The Wrest, a Richmond favorite known for turning any night into a party. With nearly two decades of experience, this high-energy band delivers an eclectic mix of classic rock, Motown, country, bluegrass, and modern hits—all powered by standout vocal harmonies and a contagious stage presence.

Settle in on the lawn, soak up the evening atmosphere, and enjoy one of the best live music settings in the Richmond area—perfect for friends, families, and anyone ready to unwind midweek.

Available for purchase from Tavern 19. (No outside food, beverages, or coolers permitted.)

Open to the public. Select shows may be ticketed, with tickets available in advance and at the door.

All concerts are weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather or unsafe conditions, concerts may be canceled or rescheduled when possible. Any event updates or cancellations will be communicated as early as possible through Tavern 19’s Facebook page.

Please note that weather-related decisions may be made up to 6 hours prior to showtime based on forecast and venue conditions.

For ticketed events, guests will receive a full refund if a concert is canceled and cannot be rescheduled.
