Custom Golf of VA offers a full breadth of club repairs and modifications from its former PGA Champions Tour repair trailer on Independence Golf Club’s driving range. Services include re-shafting, regripping, shortening and lengthening clubs, loft and lie adjustments, counterbalancing (sometimes called back weighting), stamping initials/words on clubs, and club blueprinting.

Our club blueprinting will tell you your club’s lengths, lofts, and lies against specifications, swing weight, and balance point.

BIO

Charlie Flocco has been building, fitting, and repairing golf clubs for nearly 35 years. He started re-shafting and refinishing wood woods in the mid-’80s and can tackle any club repair or modification necessary. After spending 39 years in the corporate world in various sales and procurement roles, he retired and joined Giff Breed to take over Custom Golf of Virginia, located at Independence Golf Club in Richmond, VA.  

He is a native of Buffalo, NY, and a North Carolina State University graduate.
